FALANGHINA I.G.T. DEL BENEVENTANO

TASTING NOTES AND PAIRINGS

The Falanghina I.G.T. del Beneventano is made from Falanghina grapes (at least 85%), with the possible addition of other white grape varieties authorized for use in the province of Benevento, such as Fiano and Greco.

It shows a deep yellow color with bright and vivid reflections.

On the nose, it is intense, warm yet fresh, with pleasant hints of lightly toasted hazelnut. The aromatic profile is both young and fresh, yet at the same time mature and evolved.

On the palate, the initial sensation is warm and enveloping, followed by a pleasantly acidic note. The wine is long and persistent, with fresh notes on the finish.

It pairs well with seafood appetizers, pasta dishes with shellfish sauces, mussels, fish soups, and baked or grilled fish. It also pairs well with white meats and moderately aromatic sauces.
