Amarone D.O.C.G. della Valpolicella is a wine of great structure and alcohol content, obtained from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes.
On the nose, it is alcoholic: first marasca cherry, then plum, cherries in spirit, and toasted almond. Final notes of coffee, tobacco, and cocoa.
On the palate, it is powerful, warm, broad, and enveloping, with a light tannic sensation. Persistent and long, it leaves a pleasant, clean finish and stimulates salivation.
It pairs well with game and grilled red meats. Perfect with long-aged cheeses.
Alcohol content: 15.5% vol.
Optimal serving temperature: 16-18°C.
