SANNIO BENEVENTANO: IDENTITY
Sannio Beneventano is a land of rolling hills and low mountains. Here, viticulture dates back even before the arrival of the Romans, perhaps as far back as the Greek era. An ancient tradition intertwined with tales and legends that continues today, thanks to the expert hands of winemakers who work using careful and sustainable practices.
The region’s best-known wines reflect its diverse character: Aglianico IGT del Beneventano is tannic and full-bodied, while Falanghina IGT del Beneventano is a fresh, savory wine with fruity and floral aromas.
In the hills of the Sannio, ridges alternate with deep valleys. The vineyards, with their noble vines caressed by the wind, stretch toward the mountains: an ancient dance that follows the natural contours of the land.
A LAND WITH A DEEP-ROOTED WINEMAKING TRADITION, WHERE THE DIVERSITY OF SOILS AND LANDSCAPES IS THE VERY SOUL OF THE WINE.
