The Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. shows an intense and deep red color, tending towards garnet with aging.
On the nose, it is clean and warm, with a strong perception of blackcurrant jam and plum, followed by intriguing spicy notes of pepper and vanilla.
On the palate, it offers an excellent entry, followed by a pleasantly warm sensation. The structure is rich and well-balanced, combining acidity, sapidity and light tannins, with a long and satisfying persistence.
It pairs perfectly with lamb, aged cheeses and roasted meats.
